  • It just continues to seem like a common trend, but the Denver Nuggets continue to struggle out of the gate against the Spurs. 
  • Nikola Jokic had a box score that made you look twice. The "Joker" finished with 43 points (19/30 FG), 12 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals. 
  • Denver continues to struggle when Jokic is on the bench, and San Antonio had a nice run while Jokic was resting. For those saying Jokic should just play more, he played 43 minutes in this one.
  • Jamal Murray finished with 16 points (7/19 FG) for the Nuggets and just struggled to get in a flow from deep (1/5 from 3). 
  • Big production from key Spurs players including LaMarcus Aldridge (26 points), DeMar DeRozan (25 points), and Rudy Gay (19 points). 
  • The Spurs as a team shot 57% from the field and 41% from 3. 
  • Denver shot 45% from the field and 25% from 3.
  • We've got ourselves a 7 game series ladies and gentlemen. Game 7 will be Saturday night. 
What Did We Learn

The Spurs are still one of the best-prepared teams when needing a bounce-back game. Denver continues to struggle out of the gate.
