San Antonio Spurs

  • With tonight's loss against the Spurs, the Nuggets have now lost 14 consecutive games in San Antonio, and they need to snap that streak more than ever in Game 3.
  • Welcome to the NBA Playoffs Derrick White. The Spurs guard finished the game with 36 points on 15/21 shooting and was flat out dominant tonight. After spending most of last year in the G-League, White looks to be a serious player for the Spurs organization's future.
  • All 5 starters for the Spurs finished in double-digit scoring.
  • After a historic performance in Game 2, Nuggets star guard Jamal Murray had a game to forget. Murray finished with only 6 points on 2 of 6 shooting in 31 minutes of action.
  • Malik Beasley was a bright spot for Denver tonight, finishing with 20 points off the bench for the Nuggets.
